5/31 Memorial Project

Each day brings us closer to completing the 5/31 project in Virginia Beach. As progress continues, moments on site remind us of the tragedy that occurred nearly seven years ago—but none more than the words inscribed on this stone, inviting reflection on the fragility of life and the value of each day.

We are honored to contribute to this meaningful tribute—to the families forever changed, the first responders who answered without hesitation, and the entire Hampton Roads community.

E.T. Gresham’s 109th Anniversary!

On October 16th, we celebrated our anniversary with delicious food, exciting giveaways, and a great time spent with teammates. This day reminds us of the innovative thinking and hard work that have shaped E.T. Gresham over the decades. It all began in 1916, when Earl Thomas Gresham traded in his family car to purchase one of Norfolk’s first motor trucks—launching a hauling and rigging business that laid the foundation for the company we know today. As the years passed, we expanded to meet the needs of our clients and community, including the addition of our steel division in 2017. From rigging and cranes to construction and steel, every division plays a vital role in continuing the E.T. Gresham story. Here’s to 109 years of building, lifting, and fabricating the future of Hampton Roads!
