Known throughout Hampton Roads for our signature green cranes and our General Contracting capabilities, some may be less familiar with our thriving Structural Steel fabrication division. GRESHAM STEEL, founded in 2017, has grown to be a leading structural fabricator in the region. By investing in the newest CNC Fabrication equipment and attracting the best and most experienced erectors and detailers in the region, we can bid, manage, and fabricate a variety of structural steel components.
With a 46,000-SF fully equipped shop and a current fabrication capacity of 750 tons, our steel division allows us to ensure a tight fabrication and erection schedule on our projects. By hand selecting the right team for the project and not settling for the cheapest options available, Gresham Steel can help improve both the quality and speed in which your steel package is completed. Locally, our steel division has completed several high-profile projects, including Waitzer Hall at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), Westminster Canterbury on the Chesapeake Bay Expansion, Hope Springs Veterinary Clinic at Sajo Farms, and, most recently, Richard A. Tucker Memorial Library in Norfolk.
