Tom is part of the 4th generation of E.T. Gresham Company. After graduating from NC State with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, he returned to southeastern Virginia where he worked briefly for a Civil Engineering firm before joining a local structural steel fabricator. During his time there working first as a Project Manager and then as the Executive Vice President, Tom received his M.B.A. from ODU. In 2017, when the opportunity arose to develop a steel fabrication division within the family business, Tom started Gresham Steel, which has completed projects throughout Virginia and in nearby Maryland and North Carolina.
